THE COMPLETE PICTURE

About the project

Young Stunna has officially released his long-awaited second studio album, Busisiwe, delivering a 16-track amapiano project that arrives five years after his acclaimed debut, Notumato. Released on 21 October 2026 through Piano Hub and distributed by Sony Music Entertainment Africa, the album gives fans a fuller look at the singer’s musical direction after years of collaborations, singles, and standout live moments. The project opens with “Balinde,” featuring Blxckie and SLY, and brings together a strong range of South African artists, producers, and vocalists across its expansive tracklist.https://music.apple.com/us/alb ... 29239

The title Busisiwe carries a deeply personal meaning for Young Stunna, whose real name is Sandile Msimango. He dedicated the body of work to his late great-grandmother, Busisiwe, affectionately known as Mama, crediting her love, support, and belief in his musical ambitions while he was still finding his path. That intimate foundation gives the release added weight beyond its club-ready amapiano sound. Rather than simply presenting another collection of songs, Young Stunna frames the album as a tribute to family, upbringing, faith, and the people who offer encouragement before success becomes visible to the world.

Listeners can expect major collaborative moments from Kabza De Small, Focalistic, DJ Maphorisa, Dlala Thukzin, Jnr SA, Njelic, Mthunzi, Zee Nxumalo, Toss, and many more. Songs including “Eduze Kwami,” “Asivuke,” “Umlenze,” “Amasosha,” “Imali,” and “Emhlabeni (Outro)” reveal the album’s broad creative circle, while the project’s 16-song format gives each contributor space within its amapiano-led world. With Busisiwe, Young Stunna strengthens his place among the defining voices in South African music and offers supporters a meaningful new chapter to stream, discuss, and carry into the festive season.
