BABYG!RL ZAE Reveals When Fans Can Expect New Music. The Emtee Records rapper shared the update during a recent Instagram Q&A after a fan asked the question many have been waiting to hear answered: “New music when princess?”
Keeping her response short but exciting, ZAE replied, “Before the end of the year,” accompanied by a crossed-fingers emoji and a wink. Although she stopped short of revealing further details, her answer has raised anticipation for what she could have in store.
The announcement comes after a productive year for the rising South African trap artist. In 2026, she linked up with label boss Emtee on “Manje,” released the energetic single “Tlean” featuring Sastii, and took to the stage at the 20th anniversary edition of Back to the City Festival, further strengthening her presence in the local hip-hop scene.
Recognised as the First Lady of Emtee Records, BABYG!RL ZAE has continued to establish her identity through her bold delivery, unapologetic attitude, and music that celebrates female confidence. Her 2025 all-women project, MATR!ARCHY, further reflected her commitment to putting women at the centre of her artistic vision.
With the year entering its final stretch, her latest update suggests that she is preparing to add another chapter to her growing catalogue. However, details surrounding the upcoming release, including its title, potential collaborations, and exact release date, remain under wraps.
For now, supporters can hold on to one promise from the rapper herself: new music is coming before the end of 2026.
