Well It's Officixlly Fake

About the project

Fake’well and Officixl RSA have released Well It’s Officixlly Fake, a six-track collaborative amapiano EP that brings their shared creative identity into focus. The project arrived on 23 October 2026 after the pair introduced their partnership through the single “Gqobhoze.” As a joint release, the EP gives both producers room to develop their chemistry across a compact tracklist while involving a range of established and emerging collaborators. Its playful title blends the artists’ names into one memorable phrase, helping establish the project as a distinct chapter for Fake’well and Officixl RSA.

“Gqobhoze” opens the EP with DJ Tshegu, Ojay, and Mid9t, creating an expansive first collaboration. The project then moves into “The Whoop Effect” with Outdoor DJz, followed by “They Found Us,” which features Marvens. On “Bheja,” Fake’well and Officixl RSA join forces with Bongz Deekota and Dr Lamondro, while “Sambe Perc” brings Benzoo and Bongz Deekota into the fold. The EP closes with “Nyaks Montana,” featuring Sdo Diroba, giving the six-song release a collaborative final moment.

The journey to this EP began with “Gqobhoze,” reportedly a track that helped the two artists recognise the potential of creating a larger project together. Its early release gave listeners their first taste of the partnership before the full EP became available. Now, Well It’s Officixlly Fake expands that idea into a complete release built around multiple producer and artist combinations. For amapiano fans, DJs, and music bloggers looking for new South African collaborative projects, Fake’well and Officixl RSA offer a concise six-track set with a broad mix of voices and creative energy.
