About the project
THULUBUKE has released INHLABATHI EPHALISHINI, a 10-track Maskandi album that adds a focused new entry to the South African music landscape. The project runs for approximately 40 minutes and was released under THULUBUKE MUSIC in October 2026. Built as a complete album rather than a short collection of singles, INHLABATHI EPHALISHINI gives listeners a structured run of songs led by THULUBUKE, with a balance of solo performances and selected guest appearances. The release is now available on digital music platforms for fans looking to explore the artist’s latest full-length body of work.
The album opens with “Ngilawulwa Nhliziyo” before moving into “Ukuzala Kuyefana,” creating an opening stretch centred on THULUBUKE’s own voice. Collaborative moments begin with “Sahlukana Ngomtwana,” featuring Sne Ntuli, while Sphiwo Miya joins the artist on “Abafana Bayefana.” Sne Ntuli returns for “Into Yeyingane,” adding another notable partnership to the project. These features provide variety across the tracklist while allowing the main artist to remain at the centre of the album’s direction. The result is a release that offers both individual storytelling and shared musical moments for Maskandi audiences.
Further along, THULUBUKE links up with Mzukulu kaShafuza on “Easy Come Easy Go,” one of the album’s longer cuts. The title track, “Inhlabathi Ephalishini,” appears at number seven, followed by “Amantombazane Amathathu” and “Inselela,” before the project closes with “Akuntombi Kuyanyiwa.” This clear beginning-to-end sequence makes the 10-song release easy to experience as a full project instead of simply a playlist of unrelated songs. With collaborators including Sne Ntuli, Sphiwo Miya, and Mzukulu kaShafuza, INHLABATHI EPHALISHINI gives THULUBUKE a substantial new chapter in the 2026 Maskandi release calendar.
