About the project
Mshinwemali released Awulutho Wena on 5 October 2026, adding a seven-track, 26-minute Maskandi EP to the year’s release schedule. Although music platforms may display it within an album category, the project’s verified format is an EP. The opening title track, “Awulutho Wena,” features Chulumanco M and immediately establishes the collaborative side of the release.
After the opener, Mshinwemali moves through “Indaba Zami” before welcoming Sne Ntuli on “Myeke.” “Ukwamukela” follows as a solo entry, while Umfoka Msezane joins Mshinwemali on “Ayngangawe.” The final two tracks, “Nguye Yedwa” and “Kubuhlungu,” bring the project to a close with Mshinwemali alone at the forefront.
By using three carefully placed guest appearances instead of filling every song with features, Awulutho Wena maintains a balanced format. Mshinwemali remains the central artist, while Chulumanco M, Sne Ntuli, and Umfoka Msezane each add a distinct collaborative moment.
